It all started with a random text on Instagram...

This is the story of Gautham and Aadhya, pretty much a story like every couple. Both Aadhya and Gautham were pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in different departments and Gautham was her senior. Here is a true story presented of two such pretty souls. And to every person in love out there here's a shout out through the story!

Aadhya had already known him a bit before they met or even got to know each other. Her first impression on him? A rowdy! For he was beardy. I'm sure he would probably laugh it out when he gets to know about it. One fine regular day, she receives a text on Facebook, when she sees it her heart gives a bump, it was him... Gautham. Although they didn't speak much, she felt this warmth spreading around the skin and she had no reason why she felt that way. In the whole of her second year of her bachelors, she hardly spoke to him that very one time. By the end of her 3rd year, somehow gradually they started speaking every day. Like every other couples story, theirs too started with a casual talk, those awkward moments of asking "Which branch are you from?... What are your future plans...etc"

One day near the library, Aadhya was seriously discussing an issue with her friend, when she notices him walking towards the library from the corner of her eye, he instantly started brushing his hair to attract her attention to which she ignores as she was too engrossed talking to her friend (I know poor him).

In her final year of graduation, on June 12th, she hung out with her friends, she clicked few pictures and posted one on Instagram to which there was an immediate like and a message suddenly pops up from him, she jitters, her body warm up unusually, he complimented her about it, and the pink on her cheeks could be observed very clearly. They spoke randomly about various topics, like academics, family... Just all sorts. This continued for a few more days. She had started her internship in meanwhile, and they were already comfortable sharing personal stuff about each other. He would tell about her crush and she about hers (definitely past crush now :P ). But one thing was bothering both of them... They both were scared of relationships.

They grew to be such close friends that he randomly said her "I love you... Padipoina niku( fell for you)", she knew he was just having fun flirting, or so did he say too.

He was working for Accenture during that time and had his own ups and downs. Although he wasn't interested in software, he wanted to give it a try. This was the very duration when they emotionally got connected to each other. He always said " You are the girl I want", she though he was blurting it out just like always and replied in her regular ways.He was starting to become concerned regarding every small thing of hers.. Every little thing mattered to him. On the other hand, her perception of the rowdy him turned to the closest person ever.

They were so emotionally connected that he started to say out things that would make him cry, about his career horrors which he had never shared with anyone. He also wrote IELTS back in his final year without any coaching for it as many others would rather prefer... And to talk about him more, he sure was a topper. He applied to universities for admission during Fall, but couldn't get into any. He had so much agony going through him that he could only share it with her, the fear of being left alone had always tortured him, but her presence soothed it all. She made him realize better opportunities were waiting for him so never give up and keep trying. She made him realize he had a job in Accenture, and many didn't even get placed in it. This gave him hope and made him feel a little better.

Now speaking of Accenture, it has three assessment tests during training, passing at least one results into one getting a project to work on. He failed in the first. Yet again his only source of calmness was her and during this duration , they got so emotionally attached that couldn't spare a day without speaking to each other. He was so done just talking on text that he demanded on meeting her, to which her reply was always no. She became nervous everytime he asked he out and although she badly wanted to meet, her shyness kept her from agreeing to the question.

During his convocation ceremony, she was stuck in the lab and her phone hardly had any signals, she thought she could finally see him this time and tried her best not to shy away when facing him, but look at the destiny, it just wouldn't let them.. He tried calling her and due to lack of signals she never received a call. They couldn't meet each other that day. Both of their anticipation had just sunk bad.

He started getting very much serious for her and frequently yet with seriousness in his attitude confessed to her, she just didn't know if it was right and kept ignoring the messages and tried diverting to other topics to talk on.

He then failed his second test in Accenture, now he really needed to meet her to find an escape off his depressed state, so he came to meet her in college, but just look at their fate, she had her Cognizant interview, and he had to return even without seeing her from afar.

Finally, he failed his third test and he was given his termination letter. Imagining that he cannot go to office from the next day took a great toll on him, which was added by his rejections for the admission during Fall in universities. Yet again she was his humble adobe to rely on.

There normal talks turned into romantic ones, she talked to him even during class hours, emojis of kisses and hugs were now normal for them. And you know what made Aadhya's her beat crazy, him telling " When we meet I'll hug you tight and kiss you hard". Well which girl wouldn't swoon when the guy she likes says lines like these, for she was falling harder for him every passing day now.

Her urge for meeting him grew so much that during Ganesh Nimarjanam, she decided to go to the main area as he lived nearby, and guess what happened this time, her dad accompanied her. He respected her dad a lot so yet again they did not meet.

Well once he told her he was trying on a girl, to which her jealousy was predominant, he instantly knew if she was jealous, to which she answered "I don't know", and this time when he said he loved only her, her heart went beating harshly fast and she indirectly confessed that she did. They texted most of the times and rarely called, she wished she could talk on call all day as she loved hearing his voice. As they fell deeper for each other, his overthinking became a matter to be concerned about. Her late replies would scare him to death, goodness that he was expressive unlike her that she could calm him down.

Now he had a job in Reputed technical department to which he opted for night shifts as he had to apply for universities in the morning hours. So now was her turn to become an anticipatory person, he became so confused with his work that he could hardly find time to text her, she, of course, became worried and realized his pains earlier only to acknowledge she has fallen deeply for him.

She used to tease him by indirectly confessing her love, only to make him crave to listen to the real three words. He got more possessive and she liked that in him.

One day, he told her that he got admitted into a University in London, and was leaving in two months. She was blank, she wanted to meet him desperately no matter what happened. Apparently, he was thinking the same, so they decided to meet on 17th of November, he tried meeting her at midnight of 16th and wished her Happy birthday right at midnight. She went weak at knees at such a lovely gesture and didn't have any words. Although after her exam on 17th, they met at Dunkin Donuts, she was still swooning at what happened that she was hardly hungry, he had ordered donuts and coffee, to which she could only sip her coffee and was unable to match her eyes with his. They had finally met..! That too on her birthday, what else could she have asked for. All through the time they spent she kept looking down and him? He couldn't take his eyes off her. He slowly nudged his shoes against her, and started teasing her with his sweetest voice for which she had already fallen for. She raised her hand and started pulling his hair and then gently brushed them with her fingers. One could tell she was already pink all over and him? He was just enjoying the moment he had. He waited till her cab arrived and once it did, he gave her a tight hug. She could hear his heartbeat through his chest. He didn't care about the people staring and did what his instincts had ordered him to do. Once done she was left with a tingling warmth all over her body. Once she reached home, she found her cousins had come to meet her and could do nothing but spend time with them, she couldn't properly reply to his messages. He had no clue of all this and thought she had started to hate him for what had happened but the reality was quite the opposite. He started reducing conversations between thinking he could get over her, but it wasn't as easy for him. In the mean while, she was guilty of not able to text him properly, and realized something sure was off. It took them a week to sort out their situation and behave the way they had always been. Like always he confessed to her, and this time she was direct about her emotions and finally replied " I love you too..". The magic of the emotions spread like a wildfire, for knew for now their feelings were mutual.

They planned meeting one last time before her left to London, but to despair she was left with tears as there were just obstacles all along. It was a dreading pain for both as it'll be long since they'll be able to see each other. She thought her being in his life would do nothing but cause uninvited loss in focus. Sobbing in front of an unknown house, right on new years eve, she texted him "I love you! But things are not going to work out like the way it were before. Please stay happy and all the best for the future ahead", texting so she blocked him. She couldn't take all the pain and wanted to end things for good... She wanted a fresh start in this new year.

A week later on his birthday, she couldn't stop herself, she unblocked him and texted him. Although she had a chance of meeting him, her ego strode in between and them meeting was far from thoughts alone.

He left for London and they couldn't meet at all, but one thing he couldn't stop from doing was text her, her heart gave a sudden bump, she knew all he needed was the thought that someone was with him and understands him, and did exactly what she had to do for him.. Stayed all the way with him, although over phone but she did. They soon started video calling , they couldn't stay from seeing each other. She never texted him first, he waited and waited and couldn't stop himself so texted her, and the first reaction from her... A big fat smile on her face. A word from him was enough to make her body do warm all over again.

In the meanwhile, she befriended Rishi, Rishi and her instantly became good friends as he was abroad and the woman he adored was back in his homeland, and Aadhya's was a similar condition. They talked about each others partners all the time and it gave them an even satisfaction. Once she mentioned Gautham about Rishi (Gautham and Rishi were both friends since their college times), she wanted to see the jealous him, so she described Rishi to be a tall handsome, friendly person and that he's so comfortable to talk to that they're talking every day. It was obvious that Gautham would be jealous, on the contrary he was upset with her on it. It took her a week to convince him that she was just pranking on him. Things were back to normal, both being Game of Thrones and Marvel fans, talked about it day in and day out. Things were running smooth finally.

After few months he returned India on vacation and they tried meeting but everytime they planned it, it was in vain. She was mad at him for this very reason. She once playing truth or dare with Rishi was given a dare to tell 'Gautham I Love You', Rishi knew what was going on between these two and wanted them to stop this unnecessary fight so he wantedly assigned her the dare. She being a bravo, completed her task only to add spice by telling Gautham it was a dare in a harsher tone. With this Gautham thought that she had fallen for Rishi and was pretty mad and disappointed with her. Only if she realized this was a very big mistake, and that he had very few days left for his vacation to get over. She didn't understand anything and couldn't take his insecure feeling, she wanted to end things up. All she needed was one final meet so that she could tell him that things aren't the way they were supposed to be and it's better ending it up. He didn't lift her calls, neither did he reply to texts. She had no clue of what to do except to keep herself from crying, alas she couldn't. Although she had decided, she didn't want to leave him. He had finally left for London.

In midst of all these happening, a super senior of hers kept assaulting her throughh texts and demanded her for obscene favours. She blocked him, only to get his texts from different numbers. While this was happening, a friend of hers suddenly pops up at the metro station, the route which she usually travels and confesses to her. She was all blank, what exactly is happening in her life? She wanted to see Gautham very badly, wanted his warmth assurance that he would be there for her. She wept "what have I done! I can't let him leave me.. I need him to be there with me... Forever."

Ego had always been a barrier in their case, but for the first time she broke the wall, she called him, cursed herself for not talking to her beloved for so long. On hearing his voice, thing fell in place, she felt relaxed... She realized there is no one she can ever love as much she had loved him.

They talked their hearts out , falling for each other all over again and this time with an assurance to maintain their forever...
